My approach to agility has been relationship based.  That is to say that I do agility to deepen and explore my bond with my dog friend, Ruby, a spirited and sassy rescue Border Collie.  She, quite literally, saved my life so I am deeply aware of my honor in running with her.  While we are competitive in AKC and are appreciative of all the ribbons and titles we have earned together,  I remain more interested in the process and journey we are on together.  I love teaching Handling and Competition and helping students figure out the puzzle that each run represents. I believe in being very light and happy when running so I teach with a lot of humor and patience.  My husband, Paul and I also have a wonderful friend in Spenser, an older rescue Border Collie who accompanies us when we trail on the weekends.

• Started competing and instructing agility in 1997
• Qualified and competed in the 1999 Grand Prix of Dog Agility
• Instructed Agility classes for several agility clubs in the Pittsburgh area
• Dogs:
  • Hershey; 8 years old; has USDAA ADCH(4th lab to earn this title in the USDAA), AKC AX, and NADAC Elite Jumpers, Elite Gamblers, and Elite Jumpers titles.  Qualified for the USDAA Grand Prix in 1999 and the 12th placed team @ USDAA DAM Tournament Qualifier in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1999.
